Task Description: This afternoon I was planning to finish off the step it up challenge for Tangaroa Ararau. For this task we had to basically create a goggle drawing about Tangaroa Ararau. I know that I am not Moari but I got help from my teacher and friends. I also tried watching the video to see if I could find out more clues. I hope that you all enjoy checking out my step up task for today. Remember to leave a positive comment on my blog, thank you. Here’s how I would describe Tangaroa. man, strong, god of the sea, brown, short but curly black hair, moari tattoos.
Kia ora Catherine, the words you have used to describe Tangaroa are very fitting. He is definitely described as a strong god of the sea in the stories about him. Did you know that the name Tangaroa or Tagaloa is very common in the Pacific Islands? Maybe when you have some time, you can do some research about myths about Tangaroa or Tagaloa.
Good on you for asking for friends and teacher for help. It is good to collaborate so you are able to share your learning and learn from others.
Looking forward to your next blog posts.
Ngā mihi

Wow! I am so impressed with both your kick start and step it up tasks. I can see how much have you learnt about Tangaroa and their many representations. I’m so glad to hear you had help from your teachers and friends with completing these tasks.
Your description of Tangaroa is explained really well and I can imagine how they look in my head!
Keep up the good work 🙂
