Task Description: This week for response to text we had to read a book called dawn parade. In this book it explains that we have to thank all of the people who took part in the war and we have to always show respect to them for doing that. In this task after reading the story you would have to then answer a lot of questions that your teacher has given to you like my teacher. → I think that the reason why is because he was really tired and because it was also dark and that’s scary walking in the dark alone.

→ It symbolises the whole book because it says dawn parade and I also think that because the book starts in the night and ends in the morning.

→ I think dawn parades are important because we need to thank those who died in the war just for us.
