One City – Two Earthquakes

Task description: This week we have been learning all about Christchurch and the devastating earthquakes that happened in 2010 and 2011. Our leaning intention was to find clues within the text and read between the lines to understand the hidden meaning to make a conclusion or an assumption. This week we read an article called “One City – Two Earthquakes.” We learnt the different ways to stay safe during an earthquake. For our task we had to create a piece of digital art showing how to drop, cover and hold. I chose to create a scratch project to show how to drop, cover and hold please check it out below. Please feel free to leave a positive comment on my blog.

I have also created a review about the article, check it out here!

Holiday Blogging Reading

Task Description: This week in the holidays we have been doing reading task and the book I wanted to do was my baby – sitters club book which I thought was a great book to read to. While I was doing this task I thought that it was so fun to do because we got to answer questions and if we wanted to recommend or not recommend to a friend, I chose to recommend to a friend if you all see in my task. Remember to leave a positive comment on my blog, thank you.

My Library Book

Task description: We have just been to the library to choose our own library book. The book I chose to read was Funny Kid Stand Up by Matt Stanton. I have only read a little bit of this book but I am liking it so far. For this task we had to talk about our book and say if we would like to recommend it to someone or not.
