Art in Web – Step it Up (SLJ)

Task Description: This afternoon I wanted to complete all of the summer learning journey activities I have missed out on. The activity I completed was the ”Art in Web” (step it up) For this task we had to create a spiderweb and spider using paper and a toilet paper roll.  Doing this task was SO much fun, I really enjoyed doing this. Remember to leave a positive comment on my blog, thank you. FACT: Why don’t spiderwebs rot?? Spider silk has natural antibiotics and “vinegar-like” properties that stop bacteria and fungi from eating it. This keeps the web strong for days.

Uranus/Neptune Trading Card ( Inquiry )

Task Description: This week for inquiry we have been learning and researching all about uranus and neptune. For this task we had to create trading cards all about uranus and neptune. To begin this task we had to make a copy of a google drawing template to create our trading cards. The trading card had many questions like, ”What’s uranus and neptunes distance from the Sun?” or ”Is humans able to live on uranus and neptune?” What we had to do was answer these questions. Doing this task was so much fun because I learnt so many new and interesting things about uranus and neptune. I hope that you all enjoy checking out my uranus and neptune trading cards. The Solar System & The Sun ( Inquiry Video)

Task Description: This week and last week for inquiry we have been learning all about the solar system and the sun. For this inquiry task we had to find out 10 interesting facts about the Solar System and the Sun. I really enjoyed doing this part especially finding out very cool things that I never knew that were in our solar system. After writing all of our facts we had to go onto  Google Vids and record ourselves presenting all of our interesting facts. I also really enjoyed this part as well because I really liked adding heaps of detail to each page and reading out all of my amazing facts. I hope that you all have a lovely day. Submarine Fun ( Kick Start )

Task Description: This afternoon for the summer learning journey we have been learning all about submarines and facts about them. For this task we had to create a submarine using goggle drawing. After creating the submarine you would have to write at least three or four facts about the submarine and what we have learnt about them. Ruapekapeka The Bats Nest ( Kick Start )

Task Description: This afternoon I was doing the summer learning journey task ruapekapeka the bats nest. For this task we had to create a poster about why is pekapeka so special? using google drawing. In this poster we had to add facts about pekapeka and reasons why they are so special. Task Description: This week for reading we have been researching and learning all about Lin Manuel Miranda. For this task in reading we had to read this article that our teacher has written for us, if you all want to see it check it out it will be on page two. After doing that you would have to go onto pages two,three,four, and five. To answer and draw what it says you have to do.
