Task Description: Last term in extension we have been learning all about kindness and trying to make kindness going viral. I know this was last term but this week and next week in extension we are just trying to finish off our work and if we do than we can then finally move over to what were learning this term. For this task we had to create a story of what kindness shows or how could we make someone show kindness like me, because in this story I talk about a young girl called Bella and hr best friend Helen and Bella is very mean and Helen is very kind so like the opposite of her. My favourite part about this story was the ending because it just really made me happy to see, Oh wait I can’t tell you, you’ll have to find out. How to be kind in 5 steps
Once upon a time not long ago there was a young girl called Bella who loves to be MEAN, to be honest that was everything she was in love with and it was even her favourite hobby to do. On Bella’s 8th birthday she wished that she wanted to be more mean than before. Who cares about that lets move on. On the next day at morning tea at school Bella has a best friend and her best friend is called Helen and Helen is the total opposite of Bella and that’s because Bella is rude, mean, and all those mean and unkind things. Helen is always happy, kind and she can sometimes be shy with other people or kids around her.
That’s when one day at lunchtime Bella felt like doing something mean. The thing she chose to do was take her whole entire classes writing books and throw them all in the stinking old bin to see if her classmates will find what she just did. By the time eating time was done Bella went to see how Helen was up to. When Bella got there Helen was curious why Bella was talking so long for her to come, Like look Helen was waiting for Bella for a long time for Bella to eat with her. While they were eating Helen asked Bella in an interesting way, ‘’Why were you talking for quite a long time’’?? At that moment Bella wasn’t scared to tell her because she was a softie and Bella can just beat her up so, Bella confisted and just told her what she did. On the other hand Helen was really mad like her face was red like a tomato that was going to blow up into some tomato sauce. After Bella told her the whole story Helen wanted to scream like a lion but she said to Bella in a loud voice, ‘’WHY DID YOU DO THAT AND WHY’’. Bella was left speechless because Bella never in her whole life heard Helen scream at her like that. When they were done with that all Helen promised Bella that if she would be kind to at least one person in their class than she would give her five dollars.
When Bella got home she was really frustrated because she never in her life been kind, so she wouldn’t really know how to do that. The first thing that popped into her mind was to research how to be kind. One the first that she saw first was carrying someone’s bags, but Bella didn’t really want to do that so she thought of complimenting someone, which I think is a good idea. The next day at morning tea eating Bella saw Helen and told her what she had researched about and at that moment Helen was in absolute shock because she thought that Bella was lying to her but never knew that she would actually do it. At that moment Helen dragged Bella to one of her classmates and told her to show her what she researched about and prove that it was a kind one. When Bella went to this boy in her class let’s call him Ben. Bella just walked up to Ben and told him that his red hat looked really nice on him and that he looked like a model. When Helen and Ben saw that they both were about to cry because she never knew that Bella was actually going to do that. At the end Helen tried her best to give Bella the five dollars but Bella refused to take it because she told her that being kind is her thing now and it always will be. For somehow Helen didn’t want to keep it either so they both wanted to give it to the homeless or charity.
I know that this story tells me and you that we always need to be kind to everyone around us and even the people we know like our siblings, parents, and even to friends and family.
