”There was once a box”

Last week on a saturday morning I woke up at around 6am and then began to walk down the hallway to eat my yummy breakfast. For breakfast my siblings and I ate eggs with juicy buttery toast. Next I went to brush my teeth and wash my face. Then I went to get changed until I heard a massive knock on the door. ‘’BANG BANG!!’’. After about 2 minutes later I then found out that my siblings and I were home alone because we forgot that our parents were gone shopping for some groceries. While I was walking past the white doors though the hallway, I suddenly felt a massive cold breeze hit me. That’s when I started to become very nervous. As I then open the squeaky white door, I then see a light brown box sitting all alone on the dusty floor, saying ‘’Catherine open this’’. When I found out it said my name on it, it made me a bit suspicious about that package. Eventually I walked to the living room and opened the box and saw a recording saying ‘’listen to this, ‘’Hey sisters!!

New Zealand VS Norway

‘’Hannah Wilkinson kicks hot shot at the FIFA world cup’’

Date of Article: 26/7/23 Name of Author: Catherine

BEGIN WRITING HERE: Last week on Thursday night New Zealand was versing Norway in the women’s world cup at Eden Park. In the first half New Zealand wasn’t doing as well as Norway. Just before Percival was going to make a perfect goal for New Zealand goal atack Paige Riley from Norway blocked the ball, and New Zealand did not make a goal. Then Here comes Wilkinson with the ball she comes, then turns and pass’s to Percival then tries to kick but just misses by the side. That’s when Hansin from the other team tried to kick a goal until the goal attack from New Zealand blocked the ball. Which means no goal for Norway at all. Until that’s when Hassett comes in and tries to kick the ball in but one of the players from Norway hits the ball with her knee. Will we find out if New Zealand or  Norway has the penalty? Let’s find out, Norway has the penalty!! Next on the second half ‘’Hannah comes in with a massive hot kick’.’ She score’s with a smile on her face. The crowd goes wild as Hannah gets a goal. What a moment that New Zealand won the finals match in front of the biggest crowd. Well done New Zealand, and wow Norway.

“It’s the best night of my life,” the New Zealand captain, Ali Riley, said. “With the performance we deserved it. I know we came in as underdogs, I know there was a lot of doubt, a lot of articles being written saying how many times we haven’t won a game, but we believed in ourselves the whole time.”
