Holiday Blogging

Task Description: This week for holiday blogging we have been learning all about different things lately. Like yesterday we were learning about the Panthers but I wanted to post it today because I was too late. The task that I was doing was based on the panthers and I don’t like the panthers but I am just happy for them. While I was doing this task I thought that it was so much fun because I loved the part where we got to draw something on photo-pea and I drowned a panther. Task Description: This week in the holidays we have been doing reading task and the book I wanted to do was my baby – sitters club book which I thought was a great book to read to. Holiday Blogging Reading Task

Task Description: This week during the holidays this morning I found out that we had to do a reading task. For this task we had to read our dufy book that we got from school and had to do a reading task about it. While I was doing this task I found out some really interesting interesting things because I found out that the book was nonfiction and her grandparents passed away on 2 August – April 18, 1988. My Ambassadors 2024 Application

Task Description: This term in room 9 and 10 we had to do an ambassador application. For this application we had to do a class on air film to ask questions and ask the year 6s their experiences for us. For this application we had to write a whole script explaining why we would like to become a year 6 ambassador. Then we had to choose what our favourite task or project we have done is to learn create and share. The reason why I wanted to become an ambassador was because I thought that it would be a great learning and leadership opportunity for me and it would make me and my family proud of me. My movie making role

Task Description: This term in extension we have been trying to create a movie based on ”All the places you’ll go”. For extension when we started to film all of our scenes, suddenly Cayden and others were confused, because we thought that we were supposed to get roles to film, but no one had any roles to do. That’s until all of us wanted to get our own roles. Then after a week or day Mrs Burton wanted to start getting all of us into roles that we would need to do. The roles that were there were really fun to do but we were not aloud to choose it was Mrs Burton that had to choose what was best for us. When everyone was done choosing we had to find out what we could be in, the roles I wanted to be was videographer and animator, but I became a videographer which was still really fun because I like filming with other people, but when I got my role I knew that I was really good at filming but when I got my role I never had to get turn because I didn’t feel like I and Sophia was really in the group. After that that everybody got to get there own role to take but Mrs Burton thought that some others had not roles so others still had to get roles which was still fun really fun. Here was my favorite scene I filmed. The reson why I thought this scene looked cool becasue there was sentence that said, ”and feet in your shoes”. With that sentence Mrs Burton thought that it would be a great idea to do stop motion with a girl called Nadi making her shoes move to her feet useing stop motion. When I found out we could use stop motion I thought that it was going to be very diffecult because I only used stop motion maybe two years ago but used it to make my feet go to my shoes. My favorite part about this scene was how the shoes went perfectly into her feet. If you would like to see it here down below.

(Extra information).        

What did you like about your role? ”The thing I liked most about my role was when we could film different parts of the movie and as well as trying new things to defect in extension”.

Did you like your role and why? ”I loved my role so much because I wanted to learn more about videographer and how to film right and not wrong, but I know that i’m not always perfect”.

What did you find challenging with your role? ”I found communicating challenging the most because as we film I sometimes want to talk to my group and others but while I try to tell my great ideas my group never go with my plan so that’s why I will still try my best telling others my awesome ideas in my role”. 

Is your role important for our movie? ”I think that my filming role is really important because if we don’t film anything then there will be no film festival movie from extension that will be showed”.

What did you learn in your role? ”While I was with my videogragher group I learnt  how to record zoomed in and out correctly and lisen to others in my group well”.

What do you know now that you didn’t know before? ”That when you record you have to use a try pod to help make the camra stay straight before filming”.

Fitness Routine

Task Description: This term in room 10 we have been learning all about fitness and how it helps our body. For this task in room 10 we had to get into a group of 3,4,or 5. Then start trying to figure out what was going to be our warm up. Next we had to start trying to figure out what was going to be our activity like just dance or even sports like us we chose netball as our activity. After that we had to finally pick what kind of cool down we could do, the cool down we chose was from go noddle melting exercise. Number of the week T3W9

Task Description: This week in room 10 my maths task I did today was a task called number of the week. The number of the week is a maths task when your maths group has to get a number to use for that week, and for this week my group’s number was 953. While I was doing this task my favourite slide was when I had to find out what was the nearest hundred and ten, because it helped me learn how to find out without google. Number of the week T3W8

Task Description: This week for maths I wanted to do a task called number of the week. For this task we had to get a number for this week and for my group’s number for this week is 927 which I found out was an odd number because of the starting and ending number. While I was doing this task my favourite part about it was when I had to try to figure out if the number was even or odd because that part was really fun maybe you all could try it too. Five Facts) Uike Lea Faka-Tonga

Task Description: This week in room 10 we have been learning all about Tongan language. For this task we usually call it four facts but for this week we are doing five facts, maybe not that hard. The first thing we had to do was to watch a video that was explaining all about Tonga or interesting facts about Tonga. While I was watching the video half way I was wanting to watch my own video so here is the video I watched – ”Tongan Tips .
