Shell – ebration ( Kick Start )

Task Description: This morning I was wanting to do the summer learning journey. This summer learning journey task that I had to do was called the shell – ebration kick start. For this task we had to create a piece of art using shells. If you didn’t live around a beach to collect shells you could create your piece of art using goggle drawing. This task was very fun and easy to do. I hope that you all enjoy checking out my shell art work. Remember to leave a positive comment on my blog, thank you.

  1. Kia ora Catherine,

It’s Charlotte again, a blog commenter for the Summer Learning Journey. Well done on completing this activity. I can see that a lot of hard work has gone into completing this!

What a gorgeous picture! I think that shells are so pretty. I actually have a shell collection at home! Do you collect anything?

What a creative idea to use the shells as the girls hair, it looks awesome! How did you come up with this idea? Have you done something like this before?

  2. Kia ora Catherine,

It’s Whaea Rebecca from the summer learning journey – I created this shell-ebration task – thank you so much for completing this challenge. It looks like you enjoyed it.

Of all the people who have completed this task I must so yours is very creative. I never thought of placing an image under the shells and then decorating it afterwards. I am going to borrow that idea for my class when they come back to school and share your wonderful idea – thank you.

Enjoy the rest of your summer learning journey!

    Ngā mihi
    Whaea Rebecca
