Thank you for all your help at year 5 & 6 camp, while all the students were sleeping and working hard by staying up all night and walking around in the dark at midnight to keep us safe. While you all were watching as I bit the students and teachers were proud of  you for looking after all of us. If you all security’s are reading this I and the students would like to say thank you for looking after us while we were asleep and for also maybe making us food if some of you may be helped with the food.

My Library Book

Task description: We have just been to the library to choose our own library book. The book I chose to read was Funny Kid Stand Up by Matt Stanton. I have only read a little bit of this book but I am liking it so far. For this task we had to talk about our book and say if we would like to recommend it to someone or not.

Pepeha, four facts.

Task Description: This week in  room 10  we have been learning all about our pepeha. In, todays task I had to write facts about why we have a pepeha and why we need it. While, I was doing this task I started to feel my pepeha in my heart and tree.  Remember to put an a positive Comment on my blog, thank you.

Capital Letters.

Task Description:  This week room 10 has been learning how to use our Capital letters. When, I had to start my task you had to look at the word and if it does not have a capital letter then you have to do the capital letter. While I thought that it was going to be a bit hard, it was so easy. Remember to Comment on my blog, thank you. 🙂

dear hoani

I have really enjoyed living in Wellington since june.  I have made some friends at my new school, which is the rata school on Paremata street.  My teacher is Mrs rapana.  She is all right.  In our classroom we have a pet mouse called Mr snow.  It is my job to clean the mouse house on Tuesdays.

We have visited lots of interesting places like the museum, te papa.  I went to see rugby at the Westpac Trust Stadium in september.  It was awesome to see Jonah charge down the field.

I am still playing rugby.  I’m playing for the north’s rugby club now.  We train on Wednesdays.  My new friend Callus is on my team too.

Would you like to come and stay with us in the next holidays?  I hope you will.  say hi to all my old friends, especially to everyone at whenuapai rugby club.

Your friend

My Holiday.

Wednesday morning my family and I went on a trip to Rotorua and Hamilton for a holiday. First, me and my family started to drive for a long time and while we were driving we all had to say goodbye to Auckland then left. ‘’ Hours later’’. Then, when we were finally in Rotorua we all had to park our huge van then had to go to our hotel which had two hotel rooms because the boys had to sleep in one room and the girls had to sleep in the other room. Next, we just watched TV in the room but maybe after an hour we all went to the pool outside of our rooms. After that, we had to take a shower and went to the movies and watched ‘’Avatar the way of the sea’’. When I had to go to bed I woke up the next morning at 7:00 o’clock and went where they served games and fun things you could go on like I went on the skyline and car racing and they even took photos of you and gave it to you. While we went back to our hotel room me and my family went to a restaurant named Valentines. At last, I had to drive to Hamilton and it was not too long but. ‘’ Hours later’’, When me and my family went to Hamilton I had a shower and then we had to go to the Hamilton temple that was covered with Christmas lights and it was such a beautiful place to be. Also, I drove back to Auckland and it was nice to be back home.

Family tree, four facts.
